Journal of Management Strategies and Innovation (JMSI)

1. Manuscript Submission

Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts that align with the journal’s focus and scope. Submissions must be made through the JMSI online submission system at:

2. Manuscript Types

JMSI accepts the following types of manuscripts:
Original Research Articles – Empirical or theoretical studies contributing new knowledge.
Review Papers – Systematic literature reviews or meta-analyses.
Case Studies – In-depth business and management case analyses.
Conceptual Papers – Theoretical frameworks and model developments.

3. Manuscript Preparation

3.1 General Formatting

  • Manuscripts must be written in English (British or American, but consistent).
  • Use Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
  • Paper size: A4 (210mm x 297mm), with 1-inch margins on all sides.
  • Font: Times New Roman, size 12, double-spaced.
  • Length: 6,000 – 8,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.

3.2 Structure of Manuscript

Each manuscript should be structured as follows:

Title Page

  • Title (Concise and descriptive)
  • Author(s) full name(s), affiliation(s), and email address(es)
  • Corresponding author details

Abstract & Keywords

  • Abstract (150-250 words, structured with Purpose, Design/Methodology, Findings, and Implications)
  • Keywords (3-6 relevant keywords)

Main Sections

  1. Introduction – Background, problem statement, objectives, and significance of the study.
  2. Literature Review – Theoretical frameworks and prior studies.
  3. Methodology – Research design, data collection, and analysis methods.
  4. Results & Discussion – Findings with supporting analysis and interpretations.
  5. Conclusion & Implications – Summary of findings, theoretical and practical implications, limitations, and future research directions.

References

  • Use APA (7th edition) citation style.
  • Ensure all references are cited in the manuscript and vice versa.
  • Example of APA reference format:

    Porter, M. E. (1985). Competitive advantage: Creating and sustaining superior performance. Free Press.

4. Tables, Figures, and Equations

  • Tables and Figures must be numbered sequentially and placed within the text.
  • Include a clear caption above tables and below figures.
  • Provide source citations for non-original content.

5. Plagiarism Policy

  • JMSI follows a strict anti-plagiarism policy. All submissions are screened using Turnitin.
  • The maximum similarity index allowed is 20%. Manuscripts exceeding this will be desk rejected.

6. Peer Review Process

  • JMSI follows a double-blind peer review process.
  • Each submission is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers.
  • The review process typically takes 4-6 weeks.

7. Ethical Considerations

  • Authors must declare conflicts of interest.
  • Studies involving human participants must provide ethical approval details.
  • JMSI follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.

8. Copyright & Open Access Policy

  • JMSI operates under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license.
  • Authors retain copyright but must allow unrestricted sharing and distribution.

9. Submission Checklist

Before submitting, ensure the following:
