Perlindungan Desain Industri di Era Digital: Tantangan dan Strategi

Abstract

This study explores the protection of industrial designs as part of intellectual property rights with significant economic and aesthetic value, especially in the digital era. The aim is to analyze challenges and formulate strategies for protecting industrial designs in Indonesia. A qualitative descriptive method was employed using a library research approach. The findings reveal that although Law No. 31 of 2000 provides a legal foundation, various obstacles persist, such as weak law enforcement, low public awareness, and complex legal dispute resolution.The proposed strategies include regulatory reform, digitalization of the registration system, legal education, and strengthening the judiciary's capacity.
