The results are that copyright literacy is a form of legal competence that includes understanding, awareness, and the ability to respect and comply with the rights inherent in a work of creation. With a proper understanding of copyright, individuals will be more aware of the importance of creating original works, avoiding plagiarism, and respecting the work of others. Good copyright education is expected to reduce plagiarism, thereby creating a fairer environment that values creativity. Academic ethics not only includes avoiding plagiarism, but also involves the obligation to produce honest, original work based on legitimate research.
