Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are a business group that plays a very important role in Indonesia's economy. MSMEs can be considered the lifeblood of the national economy. With MSMEs, the Indonesian economy can continue to circulate and run well. Of course, an increase in MSMEs will also open up many job opportunities and facilitate buying and selling activities in society, because buying and selling activities are one of the needs of society and these activities occur at all times. This research aims to understand the role of microfinance institutions in supporting community economic development efforts, especially Indonesia's Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Microfinance institutions help micro, small, and medium enterprises in facing capital shortages through various services.
