Abstract

This journal analyzes the Islamic capital market as an investment alternative that complies with Islamic
principles. Using a qualitative approach, this research collects data from literature, interviews with
practitioners, and surveys of investors. The results indicate that the Islamic capital market offers
instruments such as Sharia-compliant stocks, sukuk, and Sharia mutual funds that meet Sharia criteria
and have the potential to provide competitive returns. Although there are significant growth
opportunities, challenges such as a lack of public understanding and competition with conventional
products still need to be addressed. These findings are expected to enhance awareness and participation
in the Islamic capital market as an ethical and sustainable investment choice.
