Dampak Industrialisasi Modern terhadap Prinsip Keadilan Ekonomi Islam

Abstract

In the context of global social and economic development, this study analyzes the impact of 
contemporary industrialization on the application of Islamic economic justice principles. Although 
contemporary industrialization has resulted in increased productivity, efficiency, and technological 
advancement, it has also led to social inequality, labor exploitation, and wealth distribution disparities. 
This study explores relevant academic literature using a qualitative approach with a book research 
method. The purpose of this study is to find the relationship between Islamic values such as al-'adl 
(justice), ihsan (benevolence), and maslahah (public interest) with industrialization practices. The 
research shows that the application of Islamic principles of justice can be a normative and practical 
solution to overcome the moral crisis and structural inequality caused by the capitalist orientation of 
contemporary industry.
