Abstract

This article examines the importance of Sharia business ethics in improving customer satisfaction through a literature study approach. Sharia business ethics are rooted in Islamic principles, such as monotheism, knowledge, justice, responsibility, freedom, virtue, and commitment to halal. The application of these principles not only creates an ethical and fair business environment but also contributes to increasing customer trust and loyalty. From the Islamic perspective, customer satisfaction includes material and spiritual aspects, which are related to the conformity of products and services with Sharia teachings. Case studies involving Bank Syariah Indonesia, Wardah, and Tokopedia Salam show that the application of Sharia ethics has a positive impact on consumer perception and comfort. However, there are several challenges in its implementation, such as a lack of understanding of business actors, inconsistent practices, market pressure, and low consumer education and supervision. To overcome these challenges, it is necessary to conduct human resource training, strengthen Sharia-based internal audits, involve the Sharia Supervisory Board, and innovate products that align with Islamic principles. With these steps, Sharia business ethics not only serves as a moral guideline but also as an effective strategy for creating sustainable customer satisfaction and supporting the succsess and blessing of the business.
