Abstract

Islamic business management is one of the approaches in the Islamic economic system that emphasizes the principles of justice, transparency, and balance in economic activities. In the context of social justice-based economic development, Islamic business management contributes through the application of moral and ethical values in business management and decision-making that are not only profit-oriented but also socially beneficial. Principles such as the prohibition of usury, gharar (uncertainty), and maysir (speculation) serve as the foundation for creating a more stable and just economic system. This business model also emphasizes the importance of cooperation (syirkah), corporate social responsibility (CSR), and equitable wealth distribution through instruments like zakat, infak, and waqf. Through the strengthening of the sharia-based MSME sector and sharia financial institutions, sharia business management supports the economic empowerment of marginalized communities and encourages sustainable financial inclusion. Additionally, this system promotes long-term oriented business practices, environmentally friendly operations, and a focus on collective welfare. With these characteristics, sharia business management not only serves as an alternative in economic development but also as a strategic instrument in creating a fairer, balanced, and sustainable economic order. Therefore, its widespread implementation can strengthen the socio-economic foundation that is not only economically efficient but also socially equitable within social life and community life.
