Abstract

This study explores the strategic roles of Islamic microfinance institutions and cooperatives in supporting Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. As inclusive financial actors, these institutions offer Sharia-compliant financial services and foster community-based economic resilience. Using a qualitative approach, the research analyzes how Islamic values, participative systems, and digital transformation affect the development and empowerment of MSMEs. The results indicate that strong institutional networks, education, and technology adoption are critical for sustainable growth. Policy support and public awareness are also needed to enhance their contribution to inclusive economic development.
